So that means we can all believe that she really means it when she says over and over again that we should ‘defund the police’.

Please define what reciting the Pledge of Allegiance has to do with being an elected official? Our current President doesn’t thing he needs to support or defend the constitution. He currently bullies people and organizations to do his bidding. He isn’t about the 1% not the 99%. He thinks he knows best and has the Republican Party afraid to speak out against him for fear of losing their seats. Government is supposed to be run by the people and our elected officials are supposed to represent all their constituents not just the ones they politically align with.
Look to the issues that each candidate speaks to rather than some nonexistent issue that won’t affect how they manage the office.

So….Trump defies the Constitution? Do you even have a clue about what is in it? I know that schools don’t teach it anymore. or they have a liberal teacher teach with their view of it. I suggest you read, in it’s entirety, Article II, which deal with the Executive Branch. The President is the “Chief Executive Officer”, whos job is to see that laws are faithfully executed. Just because we have had previous presidents who did not do this, or picked and chose which ones to enforce, and now we have one who takes his oath seriously and fulfills that duty is no reason to say he is wrong.

Section 2

It was about reallocating some of the funds to deal with people that are mentally ill, most mentally ill people get arrested because things get escalated and they lash out at the police. Look at the statistics on who deals with and responds to the majority of mental health issues. It’s your Police Department, most of those calls are not criminal in nature but to get the individual help the get arrested.
Defund the Police (dumbest name ever BTW) is about rethinking how we police our command protect our citizens. If you combatted Mental Health, Homelessness, Food insecurity and gave kids the adult mentors they need you will eliminate a lot of our problems.
What do you do to combat those issues Philip? Do you promote Education, Healthcare, support services? Or do you just throw everyone who doesn’t look or act, or believe what you do in jail?
Communities are supposed to support themselves but we throw the least amount of money possible at the situation and then blame the other side for making the problem worse.
