Here is the email E-City Beat sent to Great Falls Primary Election candidates for state legislature this week. Candidates’ names, districts, and party affiliation are below. We will be publishing responses as they are returned.
Greetings, candidates.
In order to help fully inform Great Falls voters about who our local candidates are and where they stand on important issues before the upcoming primary election, E-City Beat is requesting a candidate profile from each of you. We’re asking for you to provide our readers with a little personal bio and your reasons for running for office.
Here are the specific questions we’d like you to answer:
- What are the top two challenges you think our community, state, and your district are facing and how you would address those issues?
- What is you political party and why are you running?
- Do you support tax credits for charter schools or private schools?
- How would you change Montana tax policy to ease the property tax burden on homeowners? Be specific.
- What is your specific position on the abortion issue?
- Do you think the legislature should change current state policy and law regarding recreational marijuana use?
Include your profile pic also, if you’d like.
Please keep your submission to 750 words or less and send it in MS Word format by May 12, 2026. We will publish your submissions without edits or editorial comment.
Thank you and good luck in the upcoming election.

In order to have a fair election, all money for elected officials should come from in this case the State . No outside money can be involved at all . If an elected official is caught taking outside money , they should be sentenced to 10 years in prison. If they are caught taking bribes, right Clarence Thomas, they should be sentenced to 10 years in prison. If you are running for a leadership position and you are afraid to lose your job or die for this State or country, YOU SHOULD NOT BE RUNNING FOR A LEADERSHIP POSITION PERIOD . COWARDS NEED NOT APPLY !
