Questions
What are the top two challenges you think our community, state, and your district are facing and how you would address those issues?
Safer Communities and Cost of Living/Affordability
I will support any legislation that positively affects our Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters and First Responders. They are the ones putting their lives on the line and deserve our support, for a job that many times seems thankless.
We can continue to work on cutting our taxes and finding the right legislative bills, and ideas to lower our government spending and hopefully be able to get that money back in hard working Montanan’s pocket.
What is you political party and why are you running?
Republican-Common Sense Conservative
I am running to serve our community and state, I believe in making a difference and helping the community. As an early childhood professional and former wrestling coach, I have served many families of Great Falls and the surrounding areas, I want to continue that to the state level.
Do you support tax credits for charter schools or private schools?
I believe that each family has the right to decide where and how their children are educated, and there isn’t a one size that fits all education for this community, we need to embrace these educational ideas and support. I am undecided on the idea of tax credits for charter or private schools, I currently neither oppose nor support this idea.
How would you change Montana tax policy to ease the property tax burden on homeowners? Be specific.
I think we did a fairly good job with tax cuts last session, but I would like to see a cap on property value, it should be what you originally purchased your home for and not have the state be able to raise that properties value as long as you own the property.
What is your specific position on the abortion issue?
Pro life-Except when the mothers life is at risk.
Do you think the legislature should change current state policy and law regarding recreational marijuana use?
I am undecided on this issue.
